Tucker Merrick

Tucker Merrick joined Ostrow and Company team to assist in providing the independent filmmaker a louder voice on the International stage. He supports Page Ostrow's negotiations and functions alongside the rest of the team for various films we represent with a passion and a goal to find and negotiate the best possible licensing and/ or distribution deals.

Tucker is the liaison to our team of dedicated film scouts and is always busy tracking completed films, as well as films in production that seem like a fit for Ostrow and Company.

What I like most about working at Ostrow and Company:
The candid and collective environment we operate in that enables us to discuss, analyze, and choose the films we feel strongly about repping. I am a part of a great team who challenges one another every day to work our hardest toward being the championing voice for the filmmaker. We specialize in knowing what all the distributors and licensors are looking for at any given time. Acquisition executives have come to rely on us to fulfill their needs and wants when it comes to a variety of films they are seeking to program and often refer filmmakers to us as well.

Favorite Day of The Week: First thing Friday mornings we do bagels and cream cheese and dish about the movies we've been screening that week. We affectionately refer to this social time together as 'Bagel Fridays'.

Hobbies: Basketball, piano, comedy, and of course watching movies

Inspirations: Often we enable many of our clients to enhance their investor relations and make more films in the future. It’s a great feeling when we help great films find the audience they deserve and further an artist’s career.
